Day 3: Challenging Yourself ⋆ Heather to the MAX

Day 3: Challenging Yourself

Consciously challenging yourself should be used as another exploration tool when you are in the process of Finding Yourself. It doesn’t need to be stressful. Challenging yourself consistently often helps you feel more comfortable feeling uncomfortable, which is important because growth only happens OUTSIDE your comfort zone. Take some time to fully analyze how often you are currently challenging yourself and in what ways. Then, brainstorm ways you can push yourself outside your comfort zone to learn more about yourself and the things you enjoy or despise. They can be big or small, the goal is just to start challenging yourself with more intention behind it.

I haven’t challenged myself much at least not something I have found very noteable. The last few challenges I have given myself are Posting the sewing add back at the end of may, going out of my comfort zone to hang out with a new friend… and friends we are *(wine)* 😛 and taking a job I didn’t want because I need to still pay bills this summer and nothing else has been coming through for me. I guess as I am writing this I realize I have challenged myself more in applying to so many jobs recently, and trying to work with staffing agencies. Bottom line, not a lot of success going around here. I am going to challenge myself this week by finally putting my application into this freelance writing position that I have been doing/slacking on. In time I will also work on making my beauty products and writing down recipes/oil combinations. Work more on learning Russian (my new friend speaks it so I got someone to work with!) Find my income path maybe museums or pet care. Work on my cookbook that I have been promising for years. And apply to an ESL online teacher position because I should have done it when I learned about it months ago.
