20 Minute Floor Workout
I LOVE to workout. When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, I have a much easier time fitting exercise into my daily life. My struggle is with nutrition, so when people ask me how I get motivated to work out every day I’m not always sure what to tell them. One thing that IS important is to do something that you find to be fun. You also want to mix up your workouts so your body is always being challenged. Even throwing a simple floor workout like this into your routine can give your muscles an extra challenge, because you’re working them in a different way. Believe it or not, doing the same routine over and over again won’t improve your body the way you want. Once your body is used to the movements, it doesn’t have to work as hard to complete them.
I was talking to my friend a couple weeks ago, and she was telling me about some difficulties she has with working out regularly. In an effort to get healthier, she’s been trying to do more. But she mentioned to me that she’s tired after being on her feet all day at work. It’s not that she gets any exercise at her job, but her feet are sore by the time she gets home. Even if she wants to work out, she also wants to get off her feet. This hit home for me, and a lot you out there too I’m sure. So I really wanted to help her out by showing her some different floor exercises
There are MANY different exercises that you can do while lying on the floor, on your hands and knees, etc. And they can be intense too! So I put together a quick little routine for her, to give her an idea of what kind of workouts she can do while also finally getting off her feet! All of the moves in this floor workout are also bodyweight exercises meaning there is no equipment required. You can do this workout anytime, anywhere. However, if you have a hard floor such as wood or tile, you may want to invest in an exercise mat. They’re pretty inexpensive, but really valuable for floor exercises like those in this workout.

This is the first time I’ve ever put together a workout video, or any video for that matter! I’m still learning how to edit them. But I couldn’t wait to share this with everyone. So even though it’s not the best video, I had to upload it and show you guys. I hope to start doing a Workout Wednesday post more often going forward, so these videos are sure to get better!
